# StreamingFast December 2024 Update

Hey y’all, some major releases were made this past month and we’re looking towards more!

## Looking back

- [Successful workshop](https://x.com/solana_devs/status/1854509213692871101) with the Solana Foundation resulting in ~2000 viewers.
- Over 100 Solana Substreams keys have registered usage over the past month.
- [MANTRA Launch](https://x.com/graphprotocol/status/1864218338349760689) and successful alignment on marketing and developer tooling.
- Solana Account Changes were optimized based on feedback gathered in Beta.
- [Substreams.dev](https://substreams.dev/) revamp with The Graph aligned design was launched.
- Given the new forked Solana Labs validator client known as “Agave”, latency optimizations were made. Ecosystem latency issues highlighted [here](https://blockworks.co/news/sol-demand-cripples-coinbase-indexers).
- Completion of the Solana IDL (decoding) support natively within the Substreams/SpS [Dev Container](https://github.com/streamingfast/substreams-starter) (including decodings for Account Changes).
- Official launch of the [Substreams Bounties](https://substreams.dev/bounties) Program onto Substreams.dev.
- Attended Devcon and hosted numerous workshops including at the [Injective](https://x.com/graphprotocol/status/1856876068881281293) summit and [orderflow.tools](https://x.com/PropellerSwap/status/1854102693993992701) to support the launch of Tycho (as a reminder, see [PropellerHeads announcement](https://x.com/PropellerSwap/status/1853422104915689672) and the associated The Graph [case study](https://thegraph.com/blog/substreams-mev-solvers-liquidity-indexing/)).

## Looking ahead

For the remainder of the quarter, here are our goals to continue making Substreams a success within The Graph:

- Begin the planning and engineering work to launch a new non EVM chain onto The Graph.
- Public launch of Solana IDLs and Account Changes support.
- Continue investigating performance improvements for both Solana Transactions/Instructions as well as Account Changes.
- Complete a technical documentation revamp on [https://docs.substreams.dev/](https://docs.substreams.dev/) and add more documentation to [TheGraph.com](http://TheGraph.com).
- Continue working with E&N to build a design concept for the Non-EVM SpS devflow on The Graph studio.
- Continue planning a robust Solana/Substreams GTM onboarding for BD and DevRel.
