## Meeting

### Grant Discussions

The Members discussed details of a grant proposal for protocol R&D, network services and ecosystem support. The Members agreed to evaluate various options and levels of engagement for this grant proposal.

The Members reviewed another proposal for a grant expanding the front-end use case for the protocol. One Member highlighted the importance and alignment of the proposal scope to the Graph’s mission. The Members agreed to explore alternate approaches of this proposal.

### Governance & GIPs

One Member provided an update of [GIP-0018: Subgraph ownership transfer](https://forum.thegraph.com/t/gip-0018-subgraph-ownership-transfer/2589). A quality audit following the Council Snapshot vote required a change to the GIP. The Members agreed that a new Snapshot Vote is necessary to be held in response to those updates. The new vote will supersede the initial [GIP-0018 Council Snapshot vote](https://snapshot.org/#/council.graphprotocol.eth/proposal/0xaaa3183b018252e69120be53c696d2c53ab52f455b3be5bb658e4b47d1c71aa1).

### Treasury Budget

One Foundation member provided a summary of the 2021 budget and an outlook for the upcoming two years. One Member emphasized the benefits of creating an overarching technology roadmap with visions that can aspire and align efforts by members across the community.
