**TL;DR - Graph Office Hours #274 (first under the new name)** **New Foundation team confirmed:** Carlos (ex-GraphOps, network infra lead), Tomas & Miguel (ex-E&N protocol), Samuel (SWE), Juan (ex-GraphOps). **Studio migration — heads up, indexers:** - Studio is NOT being deprecated, but sandbox/support gets limited - **Influx of subgraphs moving from the upgrade indexer to the network over the next ~2–3 weeks** , phased — initially by curating signal on high-query-volume subgraphs so indexers pick them up - New pricing plans coming (query pricing + plan limits/fair-use changes) — no firm timeline, “coming weeks” - Substreams to be brought natively into [thegraph.com](http://thegraph.com) (currently farmed out to Graph Market/StreamingFast) **Chain deals:** all handed off from E&N to the Foundation, contracts being finalized, no disruption expected. New chains: **HyperEVM** (Substreams extended blocks via Pinax, announcement this week) and **ARC mainnet subgraphs Wed Sept 16** (Substreams support TBD). **REO tightening — the meat of the call (Orion, from 2025 back-test data):** - Most impactful lever = **number of subgraphs served** (near-linear); latency and blocks-behind-chainhead barely matter - Uptime distribution is bimodal: 46.4% of indexers have ~zero days online, 42.9% are online 26–28 days — so squeezing uptime past mid-range recovers little - Likely first step: **11–16 days uptime + 20 subgraphs** → ~27% of rewards (by GRT) reclaimed - Clarification: “online” for a day = 1 query within limits, so even 16 days ≈ lenient - Later: possibly **stake-weighted dynamic criteria** (200M-stake indexer should serve more than 2M) - **Plan by end of September, then gradual ramps** ; 14-day on-chain grace period stays (plus the ~23-day rolling-window lag before you even hit it) - Explorer may block delegation to ineligible indexers **Issuance math after all changes:** 80% rewards manager / 20% innovation allocation now → **75% indexing rewards / 5% DIPS / 20% innovation allocation** later. GIP-0089 went live Sept 1. DIPS contracts deployed but dormant; activation “later this year” (~2–3 months), Council already approved the 5%. **Liquid staking:** Phase 1 (small group) live ~2 weeks; **Phase 2 (all delegators) mid-September**; Phase 3 adds Morpho pools / ST-GRT trading.
