:woman_astronaut: Executive Summary

For Subgraph MCP, our team was focused on refining the core system, adding Prometheus metrics and iterating on top of the GraphWow agent.

We proudly supported the beta launch of Graph Assistant at EthCC and engaged with the broader community at the ETHGlobal hackathon, helping hackers to use The Graph’s AI suite.

On the Kubernetes Launchpad front, a new version (0.7.2) of Launchpad Charts is live. Important dependency upgrades like Arbitrum v3.6.8, Erigon v3.0.12 for Polygon, Heimdall v1.6.0, and Proxyd v4.16.2 were added. Launchpad has also seen Erigon, Nimbus, and Lighthouse updates.

Finally, our team convened for an week-long offsite to refine priorities, align on our roadmap, and strengthen cross‑functional collaboration.

Subgraph MCP (Repo, Documentation)

  • Added Prometheus metrics to the Subgraph MCP
  • Iterated on GraphWow, an agent that runs on X and is powered by Subgraph MCP
  • Continue improving and refining the MCP
  • Supported the Graph Assistant launch at EthCC
  • Supported builders at the ETH Global hackathon at EthCC

Kubernetes Launchpad (Documentation, Starter, Charts, Namespaces, Taskfiles)

  • Updated Launchpad Charts to v0.7.2 with subgraph availability oracle pull policy set to “Always” for latest image pulls, plus bumped app version to v1.2.0.
  • Dependency upgrades for Launchpad Charts include:
    • Arbitrum v3.6.8 (#543), Erigon v3.0.12 for Polygon (#542), Heimdall v1.6.0 (#541), and Proxyd v4.16.2 (#536)
  • Rolled out updated dependencies in Launchpad Namespaces, including kube-prometheus-stack (#1587), updated cert-manager for CRD config flexibility (#1588), and latest Erigon, Nimbus, and Lighthouse dependencies.
  • Patched Proxyd across multiple environments including Celo, Ethereum, and Arbitrum, and transitioned Erigon and Heimdall dependencies (#1571, #1574)

  • Launchpad Charts pull requests merged:
    • #548: Updated subgraph availability oracle with image pull policy set to “Always” to ensure using the latest image; also bumped Helm chart to version v0.7.2 and application version to v1.2.0.

      • #543, #534: Upgraded Arbitrum dependencies from v3.6.4-28199cd to v3.6.8-d6c96a5.
      • #542, #540, #535: Upgraded Erigon dependencies, enhancing support for Polygon and important bugfixes from v3.0.4 to v3.0.12.
      • #541: Updated Heimdall dependencies from v1.2.3 to v1.6.0.
      • #539: Upgraded Graph Protocol dependencies, updating both indexer-service-rs and indexer-tap-agent to newer versions.
      • #536: Updated Proxyd dependencies from v4.16.0 to v4.16.2.
      • #537: Advanced Nimbus dependencies from multiarch-v25.5.0 to multiarch-v25.6.0, supporting the latest improvements.
  • Launchpad Namespaces pull requests merged:
    • #1588: Updated cert-manager to use nested key for enabling CRDs, enhancing flexibility for configuration.
    • #1587, #1586: Upgraded kube-prometheus-stack to enhance Kubernetes cluster monitoring capabilities.
    • #1584, #1585, #1583: Updated Erigon dependencies across Ethereum, Polygon, and Gnosis environments, implementing patches for stability improvements.
    • #1582: Patched Nimbus dependencies for Ethereum, offering incremental enhancements.
    • #1581, #1580: Updated Lighthouse dependencies to ensure up-to-date features for Ethereum and Gnosis.
    • #1579, #1578, #1577, #1576, #1575: Rolled out patches for Proxyd dependencies across various networks including Polygon, Gnosis, Celo, Ethereum, and Arbitrum for improved performance.
    • #1574, #1573: Released updates and patches for Erigon and Heimdall, transitioning from preview to stable releases.
    • #1572, #1570: Enhanced Ethereum and Arbitrum environments with stable and patched dependencies.
    • #1571: Addressed Celo’s Proxyd dependencies with a canary release for forward-looking stability.
    • #1568: Delivered minor patches for Erigon and Heimdall on Polygon, boosting the integrity of canary releases.

Network Operations (Graph Network Subgraph, Graph Network Substreams, Graph Activity Subgraph, Network Monitoring Subgraph, Network Analytics Subgraph)

  • Horizon rollout
    • Testing
  • Reviewed an issue reported with the L1 Network Subgraph and pushed proper fix
  • Updated GraphOps SAO instance to the latest version (v1.2.0)

Thanks for raising this! I really appreaciate you actively engaging on this post. The Foundation and core devs teams are actively working on prioritizing this kind of integration using the AI tooling we already have built to remove onboarding barriers and make subgraph development smoother.

Thanks so much, Pilar! That’s really exciting to hear. Can’t wait to see how this evolves. Integrating AI into Studio could be a game changer. Things like auto-suggesting schema fields, flagging common mapping issues, or even mapping to docs or surfacing best practices while you build would make a huge difference. Appreciate you and the team pushing this forward!
