Title: Free hosted Nuthatch endpoints for hackathon builders on testnets Studio can’t serve
Hey all. Night’s Watch here. A short one about something we started doing today and intend to keep doing.
This morning a builder at ETHOnline asked in Discord for a bigger rate limit. His app polled his Sepolia and Arc Testnet subgraphs seven times every five seconds and was out of quota within the hour. The Studio development query URL is capped at 3,000 queries a day, which is fine for smoke tests and about forty times short of a front end that polls. Sepolia can be published and paid for, so that half has an answer. Arc Testnet is Studio only, no paid tier exists, so that half had none.
So we built him one. Two Nuthatch nests, one per chain, on our own box, from the ABIs and manifests in his public repo, with SQL views that reproduce his subgraph entities by name so his four queries became one liners. From his addresses arriving to both URLs answering was about forty minutes. Nothing changed in his subgraph, and we told him to keep it in the demo if he’s in a Graph track, which he should.
The offer, for anyone in the same spot: send us the addresses and the chain (and ABIs if unverified) in the Night’s Watch server and we’ll build the nest, test it and host it for the duration. No key, no quota, per-IP rate limiting at the door that a normal app never touches. Any EVM chain with a public RPC.

This is complementary, not a replacement. The subgraph is the thing judges want to see and the network is where production goes. This is for the build loop on chains where the hosted path has no gear to shift into. If the Foundation or E&N have hackathon credits for those cases we’d happily point people there first, cc @Pedro.
