We are excited to share updates regarding The Graph’s Arbitration Council and the ongoing work of the PoI Task Force.
Arbitration Council Expansion
To strengthen The Graph’s arbitration processes and ensure robust governance, we have completed our efforts in expanding the Arbitration Council to five members, marking an important step in enhancing the system’s capabilities. The new council size will allow for broader perspectives and greater efficiency in decision-making.
We thank each council member for their dedication and contribution to maintaining the integrity of the ecosystem.
Ongoing Collaboration: PoI Task Force & Arbitration Council
The previously announced Proof of Indexing (PoI) Task Force continues to actively collaborate with the Arbitration Council. This partnership is focused on identifying opportunities to improve the arbitration process and ensuring fairness and transparency in dispute resolution.
Key areas of focus include:
- Streamlining arbitration workflows
- Enhancing data validation mechanisms
- Developing tools to support indexers and gateway operators
We appreciate the community’s engagement and feedback, which continues to guide these efforts.
Official Arbitration Dispute Channel
We would like to reiterate that the only official platform for submitting and discussing disputes for arbitration is The Graph Forum.
Disputes raised through any other channels, such as:
- Direct messages (DMs) to arbitrators,
- Discord,
- X (formerly Twitter), or any other platform,
will not be monitored or considered as part of the arbitration process. This policy ensures fairness and transparency by maintaining an accessible, and public discussion space.
We remain committed to fostering an open and collaborative ecosystem while upholding the principles of fairness and decentralization. If you have questions, feedback, or disputes for arbitration, please post them directly in the relevant threads on The Graph Forum.
Thank you for your continued participation and support in growing The Graph Network.
