Chiliz Chain Integration

If you’re creating a topic here, it means you’re seeking protocol integration for a new data source, according to the Chain Integration Process GIP.

Use of this template is mandatory to start the integration process.
Please fill out placeholders, removing any notes such as this one.

About Chiliz Chain

replace Blockchain with the network name to be integrated

Add any general information about the blockchain that the Graph protocol should support:

Chiliz Chain is a layer 1 EVM based protocol which is a fork of BSC. It is the leading sports and entertainment blockchain.

  • Is Mainnet available already? If not, any ETA?

Yes

  • Sharing technical KPIs and general information on the ecosystem are encouraged, like dapps deployed, active users, TVL, staking incentives (may be relevant for Indexers), etc.

Staking Incentives → Governance has an APR of maximum 41% for CHZ staking Chiliz Staking
Dapps Deployed: Multiple betting apps, fantasy sports and NFT dapps are active on the chain.

Contact Information

Tell us more about you.

  • Are you part of the blockchain’s core development team?

I am the Senior Product Owner for Chiliz Chain

  • Are you part of the team that built and/or tested the integration with Graph Node?

No

Graph Node integration

Add here all the details related to:

  • Type of integration (EVM chain? New Firehose?)

EVM

  • Open-source implementation (links to Firehose, if applicable, and example subgraph/substream to be used to validate the integration)

  • General integration documentation

Integration with Subgraph Studio or alternatives

As referenced in the Chain Integration Process GIP, this is a requirement for Stage 2.
Please detail how you intend to support this integration: seeking help maintaining the RPC and/or Firehose stack, or would an endpoint be provided to the team operating Subgraph Studio? You don’t need to share the RPC url on this post - that can be privately shared at a later stage
An RPC was provided to the team supporting Subgraph Studio

Indexer Documentation

Provide detailed information for Graph Indexers to support the new chain, which means running the RPC and/or Firehose stack. Examples:

  • Hardware requirements
This server should have at least 4GB of RAM, 2 CPU cores, and a solid-state drive (SSD) for
    optimal performance.
We recommend to have at least 300 GB of free disk space to sync with the chain.
  • Average frequency of upgrades or hard-forks
    ~ every 6 months
  • Available monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana dashboards, etc.)
