GraphOps Update January 2026

GraphOps Update - January 2026

:astronaut: Executive Summary

Over the final weeks of January, GraphOps delivered key updates across Kubernetes Launchpad and the Network and Analytics Subgraphs, while also advancing development work on Tycho and the Substreams Data Service.

On Tycho, the team expanded protocol coverage by operating a wider list of extractors, enhancing data coverage and integrity across the service.

The Kubernetes Launchpad received improvements across several core blockchain clients and infrastructure components, while keeping ingress and monitoring stacks up to date.

On Network Operations, we resolved data discrepancies across Core Subgraphs, alongside quality-of-life improvements to the Analytics subgraph.

January also marked the start of MVP implementations for sidecars within the Substreams Data Service.

Happy February everyone! :sparkles:

:tada: Looking Back (What Was Delivered)

Tycho & Data Ingestion Architecture

  • Tycho: Extended the range of protocols indexed by running additional extractors, increasing overall data coverage and reinforcing integrity across the ingestion pipeline.

Kubernetes Launchpad (Documentation, Starter, Charts, Namespaces, Taskfiles)

  • New updated releases:erigon, nimbus and proxyd.
  • Delivered a major update for statusim/nimbus-eth2 which boosts performance and stability, along with minor enhancements for 0xpolygon/heimdall-v2.
  • Rolled out various updates for proxyd, erigon, and graphprotocol resolving bugs and reducing resource consumption.
  • Upgraded the ingress for NGINX from 4.14.2 to 4.14.3 and improved the kube-prometheus-stack from 81.4.3 to 81.5.0 for better monitoring and stability.
  • Pushed proxyd updates to 0.7.6 across various integrations, plus advanced graph network indexer to 0.6.8-canary.2 to handle new feature dependencies efficiently.

Development Activity

  • Launchpad Charts pull requests merged:
    • #620: Updated to major version of statusim/nimbus-eth2 for improved performance.
    • #618: Updated 0xpolygon/heimdall-v2 to a minor version.
    • #622, #621, #617: Various minor and patch updates for dependencies, including proxyd, erigon, and graphprotocol components to ensure bug fixes and optimized performance.
  • Launchpad Namespaces pull requests merged:
    • #2002: Updated ingress for NGINX from 4.14.2 to 4.14.3, ensuring improvements and stability in ingress handling.
    • #2012, #2008: Improved monitoring stack, upgrading from 81.4.3 to 81.5.0 for better Kubernetes cluster monitoring.
    • #2019, #2017: Advanced graph network indexer, with updates to 0.6.8-canary.2, adding critical feature dependencies.
    • #2018, #2016, #2015, #2014, #2013, #2007, #2006, #2005, #2004, #2003: Updated proxyd dependencies across multiple network integrations to 0.7.6.
    • #2011, #2010, #2009: Erigon dependencies streamlined across networks, migrating from 0.12.9-canary.3 to 0.12.9, and refined Nimbus to 0.6.12.

Network Operations (Graph Network Subgraph, Graph Network Substreams, Graph Activity Subgraph, Network Monitoring Subgraph, Network Analytics Subgraph)

  • Resolved availableTokens and tokenCapacity issues affecting indexers on the Network and Analytics subgraphs.
  • Fixed balance issues stemming from DelegatedStake entities being split due to Horizon ID generation differences on Network and Analytics subgraph.
  • Quality of Life improvements on the Analytics subgraph by linking daily data points to their corresponding entities, easing querying and data navigation.

Substreams Data Service

  • Coordinated with StreamingFast and started working on MVP implementations for the sidecars.

:glowing_star: Looking Ahead (Upcoming Priorities)

  • Continued improvements on GraphOps’ Tycho approach.
  • Continued development of the Substreams Data Service.
