Meeting
Governance & GIPs
The Council discussed the status of GIP-0031 related to deployment of an L2 bridge. The bridge has been audited, is fully operational, and is being monitored for performance.
The Council also discussed the pros and cons of two options for handling indexing rewards cross-chain. The first option (GIP-0034), which has been audited, would involve a cross-chain drop of rewards. The other option, which is currently being audited, would involve native L2 rewards issuance using a linear formula.
The Council also discussed indexing rewards and the merge. This will require a parameter change via a Graph Governance Proposal.
Other Matters
The Council discussed the progress of Firehose and substream integration. The Council discussed developer concerns about the sunset of the hosted service, and how it would be critical to ensure quality of service on the decentralized network before the transition.
