Meeting
Council Structure
The Members discussed various forms of expanding community representation at the Council and to continue diversifying the Council structure. A number of possible changes were explored and the Members agreed to continued discussions at the next Council meeting.
User Council Seat
One Foundation member provided an update on the onboarding for the selected candidate of the User Council Member who is expected to join the Council in the near future.
Governance & GIPs
One Member presented a review of GIPs 0015, 0016 and 0017. All of these GIPs have been audited and will soon be set up for Council voting.
One Member provided an update on short term Curation experience enhancements. Various options are being discussed in detail within the community and Core Dev teams. It is expected that consensus on an approach will be reached in the coming weeks that addresses current dynamics on the bonding curve, such as front-running bots.
Small Indexer Support
One Foundation member presented a proposal to support small Indexers in the protocol. The Members broadly agreed on the fundamentals of the proposal. One Member raised concerns over the funding mechanism that may lead to network distortions and recommended exploring alternative paths to accomplish the same objectives.
