Grant Discussions

The Members discussed details of a grant proposal for protocol R&D, network services and ecosystem support. The Members agreed to proceed with modified terms of the grant proposal.

Arbitration Charter

One Member raised concerns from the Indexer community over the ratification of the Arbitration Charter, along with the ability to make well timed amendments, as needed, when the conclusion of future Arbitration cases demonstrate such need. One Member provided an update on Radicle and that a fix may be implemented soon which would enhance the Radicle user experience and help expedite the ratification of the Arbitration Charter.

The Members discussed the current resources handling Arbitration cases and identified the need to create more capacity dedicated to improve processing times of Arbitration cases. The Members agreed to evaluate different options to expand the current capacity model.

Protocol Issuance Rate

The Members discussed the current protocol issuance rate of ~3% which was set at protocol launch. The Members agreed that potentially adjusting the issuance rate will be explored when holistic economic modeling about the protocol can inform the decision making process with higher degree of confidence. It is not expected to be conducted in the near term.

Supplemental Council meeting
