New Council Member
The Council welcomed new Council member Mable Jiang, who will be representing the delegator stakeholder.
Grants
The Foundation provided an update to the Members on the status of projects under core developer grants.
Budget & Treasury Updates
The Council discussed a Foundation budget request for reimbursement of 50% of audit costs from the public security budget. The Council left the matter open for further discussion and no final decision was reached. One Council Member emphasized the importance of earmarking sufficient funds in the public security budget to fund bug bounties.
The Foundation presented a potential treasury initiative related to an R&D proposal, which the Council began discussing. The Members decided to table the proposal for further discussion in the next meeting. A request was considered and approved by the Members for release of vested Foundation GRT treasury tokens to support various initiatives.
