Add support for opBNB

About opBNB

opBNB is a high-performance layer-2 solution within the BNB Chain ecosystem, built using the OP Stack. It is designed to scale BNB Smart Chain (L1) by providing higher throughput and lower costs.

opBNB Mainnet launched on September 2023 and the team is actively working on-boarding strong infrastructure partners to improve developer experience in the ecosystem.

User Base:
OpBNB stands as an extension of the BNB Smart Chain, which has a user base of over 1MM DAU. opBNB and BNB Smart chain together boast one of the largest on-chain user bases as measured by daily active wallets and combine to over 1.5MM DAU

BNB Chain also has a twitter following of over 3MM+ and would be happy to invite TheGraph as guests to relevant twitter spaces

Dapps/Projects:
opBNB currently has over 70 projects live on the ecosystem which can be referenced on DappBay (DappBay Ranking: Find Top dApps on opBNB)

Total Value Locked (TVL):
Although DeFi has not been a particular focus for opBNB up to this point, the chain has attracted $20MM in TVL so far, with some of the ecosystem’s L1’s strongest partners yet to deploy on opBNB.
