:woman_astronaut: Executive Summary

In May 2025, Edge & Node made a number of notable contributions to The Graph ecosystem -ranging from new features on Subgraph-related products to marketing efforts campaigns several products, chain integrations, and new partnerships. The E&N Engineering team completed several critical initiatives, including the rollout of a new Studio billing platform, security improvements, graph-node upgrades, and substantial progress on Horizon and DIPs development. The Marketing team contributed to multiple successful campaigns, blog posts, and case studies. Some highlights include several long-form posts highlighting new Substreams features, chain integrations, new Token API NFT features, an initiative to expand GRT to new chains using Chainlink’s CCIP, as well as case studies AI and analytics-focused case studies from Theoriq and Amberdata. The Developer Relations team produced valuable educational content and tutorials, while the House of Web3 expanded its community initiatives and co-creator program.

Engineering

  • Product Engineering:

    • Completed roll-out of new Studio billing platform to all users
    • Security fix preventing brute force attack on some Studio APIs
    • Implemented new subscriber mailing list for new Studio sign-ups
    • Disabled creation of new Substreams-powered Subgraphs in Studio
    • Improved pagination performance for long tables in Indexer allocations and Subgraphs profile tabs
    • Minor UI bug-fixes on Explorer curation panes

  • Protocol Engineering:

    • Completed third audit of Horizon with smart contracts code now ready
    • Full DIPs indexing agreement creation tested on local network
    • Significant progress on DIPs smart contracts

  • Graph Node:

    • Removed graphman drop command
    • Removed ganache-specific code
    • Cleaned up Docs and API keys for operational efficiency
    • Increased IPFS max retry delay to 60 seconds
    • Split the subgraph_deployment table into two
    • Kill and retry pruning batch operations
    • Enabled caching of IPFS files in file system

  • Indexer Components:

    • Implementations to support Horizon & DIPs
    • Deal with chain aliasing woes wrt network registry

  • Gateway:

    • Gateway release v27.1.3 is complete (release notes) :tada:.
      • This is largely dependency upgrades, most notably alloy v1.0.

Business Development

  • Locked in a 30-minute slot on Solana Developer’s Guild technical session
  • Katana-Tatara is now integrated with Subgraph Studio

  • Stackblitz Offsite: Hosted a 2 day offsite with Sackblitz
  • Psymed Annual Conference: Hosted 2nd year in a row conference
  • First HOW3 wedding!
