Executive Summary
We rode a wave of momentum into the new year! December and January were the highest query volume months seen on The Graph Network, at 2 billion and 1.8 billion queries, respectively. January saw significant advancements across engineering, business development, and community initiatives in addition to welcoming our new CEO Rodrigo Coelho! Highlights include $0-dollar chain integrations, a slick revamped global navigation on The Graph’s website, and the Helium team joining the House of Web3 to benefit from ongoing live collaboration and technical support. We oversaw a slew of new releases, key partnership engagements, and a continued commitment to technical education. Looking ahead, we are focused on finalizing Horizon integration, strengthening business partnerships, growing developer relations, and expanding the House of Web3 ecosystem. Read on for more detail.

- Product Engineering
- Brand new global navigation for thegraph.com!
- Updated query fees chart on Explorer Network page to display query volume
- Improved “unsupported features” warning in Explorer for better user clarity
- Added clarity around development query endpoints in Studio
- Protocol Engineering
- Progressed on Horizon integration testing, deployment scripts, and off-chain components, with a final audit scheduled for March
- While advancing the indexing payments (DIPs) off-chain MVP, we started code for the protocol implementation as well
- Presented GIP-0070 (protocol evolution) to core devs and Indexers. Now moving towards Council approval
- Completed first iteration of a POI notification service that forwards POI discrepancy and POI reuse notifications for review
- Prepared a transaction for the Council to grant Protocol team permissions to add supported networks to EBO, streamlining network reward additions

- Released v0.36.1 with updates on IPFS, block ingestion, and migrations
- Performed audit of release process for streamlined shipping

- Released v0.22.0 with updates supporting local subgraph querying
